Key accountabilities:
-Greet customers within 30 seconds and begin the process of an outstanding Macy's shopping experience.
-Maintain a positive professional attitude reflecting Macy's commitment to our customer as the most important in our stores.
-Professionally answer all telephone inquiries.
-Through the use of vendor and store product knowledge tools, become familiar with merchandise and share this information with our customers.
-Close every sale with the offer to place it on a Macy's account, and offer to open an account if the customer does not have one.
-Be familiar with all markdowns, special promotions, clearance and advertised merchandise.
-Know and use all Macy's systems and procedures to enhance selling efficiences and complete non-selling duties.
-Assist in maintaining merchandise presentation standards: in particular, a clean, neat, and easy to shop environment.
-Be familiar with merchandise in back stock, and continuously repelenish the selling floor as needed.
-Assist with scheduled inventories. |

-Ensures Customer Service is priority. Greets the customer within company standard and acknowledges the next customer in line.
-Achieves the company standard for our Customer Loyalty Program (credit solicitation).
-Effectively handles multiple customers, maintaining poise and service standards.
-Practices suggestive selling, offering every customer related items.

Signing Associate - Part-Time
| Overview: |
Must possess strong organizational skills. A candidate for this role is able to work quickly and within strict timelines. As with all support roles, this position requires an individual to demonstrate teamwork. Experience with visual merchandising and product placement background is a plus. Our business depends on our associates to work their shifts as scheduled, flexibility and dependability are key requirements in all areas. |
