The Mall at Robinson is hosting the “Find your Fit” Prom and Career Expo!

Fashion and Future come together at The Mall at Robinson to help students

find their fit in higher education and develop their own style.

PITTSBURGH, March 8, 2006 - The Mall at Robinson will host the Find your Fit Prom and Career Expo from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, March 11, at the Rotunda (near Banana Republic) and the Grand Court. Students from the Pittsburgh region will be given the opportunity to talk to representatives from different institutions and colleges about furthering their education. Guests will find the perfect prom look at the Prom and Spring Fashion Show at 2 pm. The Accessorize Your Style and the Fashion Your Future competition will also be underway showcasing the hottest prom and spring trends.

From 11:30 a.m. to noon, guests ages 15+ will be able to register for the Accessorize Your Style competition. Five contestants will be selected at noon and will join five other contestants already pre-selected by KISS FM. All participants will be given a $75 Mall at Robinson gift card to accessorize a pre-dressed mannequin. Contestants, using only notes and having no help, must be back and ready to present their outfit to the judges in 30 minutes. The Grand prize includes a dinner and limo ride to prom for 6 people, a prom dress from Cache, and a tux rental from American Commodore Tuxedo.

The Mall at Robinson, along with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, supports the work of local artists and works together to raise awareness about their creativity. Guests can watch four contestants compete in the Fashion Your Future scholarship competition. Contestants are given $500 to create and design a window display that best accentuates a prom dress from Cache. The windows will be on display throughout the Prom Season on the lower level, near Cricket.

At 2 p.m. in the Grand Court, the Prom and Spring Fashion Show will showcase spring and prom trends for ‘06 with models from IMTM and the Mall’s Trendsetter Board. DJFIRM from Club Zoo will be spinning music for the show.
