FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THE MALL AT ROBINSON JOINS FORCES WITH THE PA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD AND THE GREATER PENNSYLVANIA REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS TO REBUILD PARTS OF THE MONTOUR TRAIL

PITTSBURGH, April 18, 2006- The Mall at Robinson today announced that it has joined forces with the PA National Guard and The Greater Pennsylvania Regional Council of Carpenters to celebrate Earth Day by helping to rebuild parts of the Montour Trail on Friday, April 21.  The skill level and expertise of the Carpenters Union and the National Guard will allow the groups to complete their goal of constructing two shelters, installing split rail fencing, landscaping the gazebo and reinstalling a gate.

“The Mall at Robinson continuously strives to give back to the community,” said Shema Krinsky, marketing director, Mall at Robinson.  “That is why we are honored to be involved in something that not only helps better our community, but also helps better our environment.”

The Montour Trail is a multi-use non-motorized, recreational rail-trail near Pittsburgh.  The trail will ultimately extend 47 miles from Coraopolis to Clairton. The trail is paved with a smooth surface of crushed milestone making it fantastic for outdoor activities such as walking, running, and riding bikes.  It is especially great for all the nature lovers out there!

The Army National Guard is an elite group of warriors who dedicate a portion of their time to serving their nation. Each state has its own National Guard as required by the constitution; in fact, the National Guard is the only branch of the military whose existence is actually required by the constitution.  For more information, please visit www.1800GoGuard.com.

The Greater Pennsylvania Regional Council of Carpenters officially began back in 1881 when 36 delegates from 14 local unions in 11 different cities decided to organize themselves so that they would have a stronger voice. They were looking for a way to be on equal terms with employers, to shorten their workdays and to increase their pay. Today, they have more than 532,000 members, representing 872 locals.

The Mall at Robinson is a 863,791 square foot regional shopping center owned and operated by Forest City Enterprises, Inc.
